Adult Christian Education

Christian education and formation is the lifelong process of growing in our relationship with God, self, others, and all creation. Along with worship, fellowship and prayer, part of the active Christian life includes the regular and thorough study of scripture or other books on faith. Every experience in our lives can provide us with the opportunity to express our faith; the challenge we face is recognizing these opportunities and learning ways to live a sometimes counter-cultural life in a secular world.

Sunday Bible Study

Sundays, 10 am
People Place (near the St. Francis School office)
Leader: George Hippard

The Adult Christian Education Class where people come and learn about God as revealed in his Word: the Holy Bible. All are welcome to attend this informal group where there is no homework. Each class is stand-alone as we study the Bible or books about biblical concepts. Lively and enlightening discussions are part of our interaction with the text.

The Men of St. Francis (TMOSF)

Second Tuesdays of each month, location varies.

The Men of St. Francis meet on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year. The men either discuss a faith-related book (one chapter each month) or they may consider current events. There is a small suggested donation to cover the cost of breakfast.

The Men of St. Francis also get involved in small projects for the church and beyond. This group used proceeds from the breakfast to have new counter tops made for the kitchen and serving area. They built cabinets and shelving in the kitchen. Over the years they have also made several donations to a mission in Honduras.

Contact Sally Jo Flores for more information.
