Children & Youth Programs
St. Francis offers multiple opportunities for youth. Along with the programs listed below, there are service projects offered routinely and seasonal church events for all youth to enjoy. We hope to see you soon!
Week of Wonder
W.O.W. 2019 - July 29-Aug 2 from 9 am to Noon
Week of Wonder (W.O.W.) is a week-long faith experience for children ages 4 yrs old to rising 4th graders. Similar to a traditional day camp, W.O.W. is five fun-packed days of themed music, crafts, science projects, outdoor play and Bible stories. All children are welcome (you don’t have to be a church member to attend), but we recommend registering early as space is limited to15 per age group (and always sells-out). Your child will be placed on a wait list if the class has filled. You will be notified.
W.O.W. is a rewarding volunteer opportunity for adults as well! We need lots of teachers, decorators, crafters, snack distributors, and behind-the-scenes helpers to make this a great week for the kids. Please consider joining the fun.
Middle and High School Youth are encouraged to serve as W.O.W. volunteers. W.O.W. teaches teens and tweens valuable leadership skills as they work with younger kids, lead songs, and supervise activities. They will earn service hours for their time.
Age group classes are limited to 15. Once registration is full for a class, you will be placed on a waitlist. Registration is not complete until payment has been received.
