Fearless Generosity: Our Trust Is In the Lord!
In gratitude for God's many blessings and in support of St. Francis Episcopal church, we ask you to prayerfully consider making your pledge for the 2017 budget year. We will continue our focus on supporting core needs and programs: Christian Education, Pastoral Care, Music, Youth Ministry/EYC, and Outreach.  We ask that as you prepare your family's pledge card, please consider the many ways in which St. Francis Episcopal Church supports you and your family, and that you continue to give 'generously' in the tradition of St. Francis.

We invite you to listen to this special message given by Stewardship Co-Chair, Jason Martinez

Because our trust is in the Lord and his perfect love for us we don't have to be overly anxious about whether God will meet our needs. This is the first principle of all that is called 'Stewardship'. Loving and trusting the Lord allows our minds to be at peace as we give back to God our offerings. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:16-20). With our hearts focused on the Lord who gave himself for us and not on the media and the many voices calling out to us, we can remember that we are here to live and act as children of God. Like God, we too can give with fearless generosity.

St. Francis Church is a place where God's love and presence reside as we continue to worship, hear God's word, and be inspired to live in the light of his love. We reach out to our parishioners and to our community with fearless joy and compassion because we are children of God's love. Offering our resources to do God’s work through our parish is an eternal privilege that will never fade away or be lost.

With grace, gratitude and love,
The Rev. Stuart A. Bates
