Family Worship and Workshop

This unique service is specifically designed to meet the needs of our church and school families. The service looks like this:

Worship begins at 9:00am in the Church.

During Worship time, we have a scripture reading, a short simple sermon, and the Holy Eucharist. The music consists of the familiar contemporary worship songs sung in our Day School chapels.

After a closing hymn, we process from the Church and go to our Workshop time.

During Workshop time children participate in activities in the Christian Education rooms. These activities support the lesson that was taught in church.

Parents participate in an informal workshop in the Wheatcroft Parish Hall that includes coffee, fellowship and discussion led by Father Bates.

Family Worship and Workshop is designed to incorporate worship time and Sunday School time in one complete unit. Children whose families would like to attend the 10:30am service are still invited to participate in the Workshop so that their children will also have a Sunday School experience each week.

Childcare is offered starting at 8:45am, though because this service is specifically designed for families, we hope most of our children will be attending service.

Parents are invited to pick up their children at 10:20am in the Christian Education Classrooms.
